I quote Stan from South Park, season 11, episode 9:
"That's why Bono, despite being involved in so many humanitarian causes, always seems like a piece of shit.
Because he is a piece of shit!"
Kudos to Stone and Parker.

"The vocal ability of the artist ranges from low tones to high tones with dexterity.
Well, for a singer, this skill is a virtue.
I don’t know the masterpiece, but I give the singer a 10, because someone like that must have made an excellent album regardless.
Has she also made calendars?"

Far from me to do that.
Even though I appreciate rock as a major art form (screw the jazz snobs), I don’t belittle the enjoyment of some light music, like the Ramones, Pistols, B-52s, or similar, which were certainly not artistically superior to the Beatles.
But they were sociologically, that's a long discussion to have; hence my definition, frivolous or birthday music.
The point is, I have the utmost respect for anyone who listens to every kind of music.
It's just that there are types of music, like situations, that I prefer over others...
I don’t denigrate anything: a teenage years spent with my friends, wandering around Europe in search of experiences and rock bands. Or a past spent at birthday parties in nightclubs with Vasco Rossi and the like—they both deserve respect because the only truly important thing is to enjoy it.
However, since there are different tastes, lifestyles (and even ideas if you want), one can argue about those, but we shouldn’t see ourselves as small or big. We all just do what makes us happy.
To take it personally is disheartening.
P.S. Don’t associate me with that damned know-it-all, I loathe him, a presumptuous and delusional person; just take a look at what he writes on his political pages, I don't agree with a single word of his thinking.
But he thinks like me about the Beatles, should I kill him?
Not only about the Beatles, I’d say about music in general; when I discovered his site, I saw that he included several things in his list of the top 25 albums that I had bought on vinyl years ago.
Very flattering. But then, diving into the details, he praises bands that I still consider even more absurd than the Beatles—I don’t get it; anyway, I detest him.

A say, like saying party music for teenage birthdays, of apple pie I don’t know. In short, not the same approach that true rock masterpieces (from the already mentioned Cale and Reed to Faust to Red Crayola etc., in short, the stuff that was going around in those years) required. Let's be clear, I have nothing against the Beatles or those who enjoy listening to them (but of course I wouldn't mind...), I just believe that objectively, as musicians/composers, they are a bit overrated. There is certainly a strong communicative component, which the Beatles were masters at creating with their fun (I fear the characters more than the songs), and that's a merit nonetheless. (Or is it the market?)

Oh look, I could be a sixty-year-old or a twelve-year-old, it doesn't matter.
But I’ve always been someone who listens to rock, and with the confidence of knowing my stuff and the awareness of not being so foolish as to make associations between musical tastes and mental (or social) issues, I take a piss on your arrogance and rudeness.
Ps. We who? Are you using the royal we or what?

What a drag, the Beatles again! I've never been able to stand them, pop tunes for kids, nothing but rock. That damned know-it-all may be the most annoying person on the internet, but he hit the nail on the head with them.

Yes, it's true, they are worth nothing, tons of rhetoric in an unlistenable 'music.'
But worse has been seen in Italy.
Of course, since the disappearance of the CCCP, there has never been a truly valid Italian antagonistic group musically. We wait with hope. Ah, and also the comments are a beautiful mess, generalizations galore, and in this case, the most vulgar rhetoric as well.
