Watch out, what you say is true, Lux, but it's a false problem: the point is not to deny the intelligence or the ironic/sarcastic vein of Freddie & co... but the fact that they made essential and important music... actually, your comment would be proof of that...

47 and Stoney: look, Percy has written some great stuff on Debaser...I seem to remember a hilarious review of A Night at the Opera or Bohemian Rhapsody..anyway, forget about the fans, it's impossible to discuss...:-)

Well, frankly, I find the three cheerful dead boys quite embarrassing... I even saw them live... As for the gardens, they’re getting worse and their latest album confirms that, nothing special... A Toys Orchestra also don’t capture me. Virginiana Miller don’t stray too far from the Basutelle... In short, I think Italy is doing well when it comes to more experimental/avant-garde genres... see Xabier Iriondo... 3/4 had been eliminated... ASA...

Yes, in "Antropophagus" Battiato is cranking it up, and it's true that it's less commercial than the previous one. Well-crafted and heartfelt, educational for the little ones, but in the end, it's not an exceptional album, a bit long-winded, a bit confusing, never really exciting, a nice 3 it is...

that their success is a positive thing, I agree... however, it’s a different story to say whether this is a good album or not... after three listens, it still doesn’t quite convince me...

andrea: but I understood perfectly the quote from the song. And I've read Baudelaire, so my criticism isn't about what you don't know, but about those who (with humility, of course) find the text a bit pretentious and superficial, that's all. You yourself have criticized, and indeed I said that your review is good. Let's leave aside the refrain of "why don't you do it if you think you're better"… criticism of art is a relative matter; it is made in comparison to other things that have already been heard, not based on whether one knows how to do it or not. Or is Massimo Di Cataldo a great artist just because I can't sing like him… come on…

but I have a feeling that you’re not really real... are you their friend or what?:-)... because it seems to me that you know way too much about this record... released 3 days ago... hmm...

Anyway, the review is very good... even though it seems to desperately try to find meanings that elevate the album... whose rating I'm still reserving.
