Faust vs. Dälek Derbe Respect, Alder

How disgusting! The kiss... yuck! It just doesn’t click. Anyway, I’m saying this with my heart in my hand (since we’re on the “deamicis” theme), because, in your opinion, why would this review of yours be okay? I reread it and studied it again but... look... it’s really bad!

Caz ahahahahah, please. I deduce. If someone doesn’t think like you, instead of rolling out red velvet carpets welcoming them with a warm "welcome to you who don't think like me, my friend," here you are, gloomy and gruff, telling me: "you’re sad"! Sig! Then, if I’ve put the record in the player, evidently, I reconsidered and damn it, instead of being thoroughly satisfied, are you more sad??? A curiosity: where do you pull out my "cosmic pessimism," you didn’t sneak a glance at some of my reviews from which you’ve deduced this enormous crap, did you?

Fantoni, I am a lover of beautiful things. And beautiful things, I decided a long time ago, are those that I like (just think about it :-)). If it were to happen by chance that a record I like climbs the charts... it wouldn't change anything for me. It remains beautiful.

And why? I'm super happy! Do we all have to conform in the same direction? And if you don't think like me, are you a loser? Are you out? Are you a nobody? No. Too trivial. Your review didn't sit well with me, it didn’t resonate (and you know very well that it’s not due to bias since I've gladly listened to other reviews and albums you proposed, even giving you a 5). But, coincidentally, Fate brought this CD into my player. I listened to it. Peace.

Fyguns, I generally agree with you except for the conclusion. For someone looking to get into Springsteen’s music, I wouldn’t recommend this album; instead, I’d suggest starting with the substantial Live 1975/85, then The River, Born to Run, and Darkness. After that, Nebraska and Born in the U.S.A. Then The Ghost and the first two, and later The Rising, etc., until reaching this one. Another thing, "57 Channels" has a message that is still very relevant and powerful: 57 channels and nothing on! "Pony Boy" is a sweet lullaby for the newborn son. "Human Touch" and "With Every Wish" are worthy. "Man's Job" live is a marvel. And I really like "Wish I Were Blind." An album that deserves a 3 for Bruce. In other words, a solid rock album.

Listen dear Fantoni, I know the charts from back then well because I also contributed to making them rise by buying the CD. If you prefer the previous two, that's perfectly fine; those are your tastes. But just make sure that, for this choice, you don't base it on what position the album reached in the charts. That would be damned banal. That's all.

Damn it, I didn't get it, it didn't make me laugh, it didn't make me think, and worst of all, it didn't intrigue me. Must be my age...

Fantoni, would this album be a 2? I mean, more than sufficient? Even because, in your opinion, "they're just a group looking for a princely contract trying to place hits at number one"!!! How do you get such firsthand information??
