U2 The Best Of 1980 - 1990 (2 CD)

"bad" slip? no, absolutely not. maybe Bono's best performance. anyway, de-baser is terrible, it has been ruined by all these fakes who are attacking a reviewer... I mean, what the hell has he written that is so bad here? and judge for once without preconceptions...

Beautiful review, this album is a masterpiece... still fresh today, immortal. In my opinion, there are no fillers; rather, some tracks that were probably intended as brief folk-blues interludes, like "factory girl," "parachute woman," and "dear doctor," turn out to be outstanding songs. Not to mention exceptional tracks like "jigsaw puzzle" and especially "sympathy," one of the most beautiful of all time. I agree with Zarathustra on "street fightin' man," which doesn't excite me like the others, and it also sounds more "dated," more "sixties" (which isn't necessarily a flaw, but perhaps in such an immortal album it is).

It feels a bit lean but still useful since I downloaded it right away...very nice, very '67, right? Close to Sgt. Pepper but more folk, more American (it's no coincidence that Nash would go on to collaborate with three of the most popular American singer-songwriters of the time). What you say is also true, that, while having that sound so typical of '60s psychedelia and therefore completely immersed in that "flower power" era, it still sounds great even today. The rating is a 4.5.

Beautiful but slightly inferior to Black Market. Still, I’ve never heard a bassist like Pastorius. Embarrassing (for other bassists).
The Clash London Calling

simply my favorite album. what's the most beautiful song? well, certainly london calling... but really, jimmy jazz is no less impressive... oh my, I might almost say i'm not down... and those two reggae masterpieces, guns of brixton and revolution rock? okay, let's call it a day: lost in the supermarket for life... or maybe clampdown is better? no, no, I forgot about rudie can't fail, I challenge anyone to stay still while listening to it... alright: train in vain... but I'm feeling really uncertain.
