think that I instead fell in love with "the great beyond"... then I had to catch up and, between records my father already had and some downloaded (the first ones), now I basically only need the recordings of what he sings in the shower (who knows if he sings off-key?.. anyway, we’d be fine with that too..)

much better than "harvest moon"... the review captures the essence well... you did right to use the terms "intimate," "twilight," "idyllic comfort," "childhood," "transience"... out of curiosity, I think I've read that the painter being referred to is the daughter.

Hey Odradek, while fooling around here and there among the reviews, I read that you too are in love with Michael Stipe's magical voice... so many discoveries you make from a strange spool of thread...

not exactly in agreement... does "la carrozza di hans" end sadly? well! in my opinion, the album is just perfect, as perfect as a human work can be (ooooh, what a philosophical statement I made...). And beyond the comparison with Jet Lag highlighted by salmacis, I think it’s also wrong to compare it with the rest of Italian music... rather, it should be compared to the progressive works from across the Channel of that time... next to which "storia di un minuto" is certainly not overshadowed... and also the genre is wrong... "impressioni di settembre" can be classified as "Italian song", but for the rest it's progressive rock... a bit of folk and classical at most... anyway, overall good review (to be honest, I didn’t understand the last sentence)

No, on the computer, but I think it sounds really great on headphones... in the dark it must be amazing.

beautiful, beautiful... thank you odradek... I would give it 5/5, but since after the first listen one tends to be enthusiastic, I’ll hold back...

By the way... why are there 25 songs in the tracklist and not 15? Are they bonus tracks?
