Anyway, I said that I don’t like '80s prog, not '80s in general... I do really like the new wave movement... and one of my favorite CDs is The Joshua Tree...

my favorite of bob... in my opinion, clearly superior to the much-cited blonde on blonde... anyway, waters, besides being a bassist and not a guitarist, I think in '65 he wasn't exactly at the peak of fame, considering that pink floyd didn't even exist...

well... I only have "cheerio," "pussy willow" (these two are quite useless) and "broadsword"... if this is the best of the album, a solid 2/5 is well deserved... no to '80s prog-rock... it doesn't make sense

Coldplay Parachutes

"parachutes" avoidable... look, those forty seconds only have the flaw of being forty seconds and not much more... a wonderful tribute to Nick Drake... with Chris's voice, which by the way is better than Nick's (in my opinion)

By the way, isenicon, do you know Joy Division? If not, listen to "Unknown Pleasures" (1979)... you will find many similarities...

It's true that if you read the introduction of each group on Ondarock, they say they are fundamental and particularly "peculiar," aside from those that have been very successful with the public... so what? Isn't it the same on Debaser? And how can you criticize the reviewer just because they mentioned that site? Sometimes I am astonished... in fact, the review is not bad at all, even though it’s not a masterpiece... perhaps not very engaging, especially since it doesn’t say much more than what was already there... the album is a really good album, with melancholic or furious-desperate atmospheres generated by a voice that sounds like it's filtered through a megaphone and by a sharp, very "new wave" guitar... the first thing that comes to mind while listening to it is ice... or rather, a long stretch of ice with lights surrounding it lengthwise...
