listen listen... truly great album.. soundtrack of silence, as the reviewer says.. the rating is more than 4 (for both the review and the album), so I’ll take the average.

Well, you know that those things about fascism are often said by people trying to act tough, to feel "strong" (but strong about what...?!) while in reality they don’t even know what they're babbling about. However, I want to clarify an important point; it’s not related to the review (nor to the rating I gave you, which is simply due to the fact that in the end you barely say anything :-)), but I’ll take it as a cue: I’ve often come across the easy equation on Debaser of "stupid, uncritical masses" = right-wing; "intellectuals, alternative thinkers, free thinkers" = left-wing... please, let’s take it easy; it’s really annoying to hear such things from people who consider themselves to be of high caliber...

I definitely like it more than The Freewheelin... PS: the review is almost perfect, but I give you a 4 because there are better ones, written by people who are 10 years younger than you - with all that entails - and published five years before this one, or in complete cultural isolation :-)))

very good... only that I wouldn’t call it negligible... on the contrary, being more “songs,” they're actually easier to listen to compared to “airports.” However, I still prefer “another green world,” where the tracks are even more “songs,” despite the electronics used being truly “ahead.” On the other hand, the “non-music” of “airports” and “films” fascinates me a lot in a theoretical sense; I also consider the compositions themselves to have excellent aesthetic quality, but I find them a bit difficult to listen to. Or at least they work well only as background... just like ambient music...

oh my god, it does raise some doubts... and why doesn’t he respond to the comments at all?

above all, I wouldn’t want, I who especially love the Barrett-era Pink Floyd, for there to be exaggeration about those who came after and especially regarding Gilmour’s lack of skill (not meant as technical prowess)... I mean, they all made excellent albums and even masterpieces like Dark Side... and then are we going to discuss the solo in "One of These Days"? or the first 8 minutes of "Shine On..."? or the "psychedelic" guitar section of "Echoes," which I would compare to a suffocated energy, like being submerged underwater but constantly struggling to rise to the surface and break free into the air? oh, let’s not kid ourselves, come on...

Well, if you compare Gilmour and Barrett in terms of brilliant insights and madness, the latter wins, but David's style is exceptional... It's logical that if you listen to the latest album, you find few great ideas; he's an old geezer of 60 years... but still, it doesn't seem to me at all that in the golden years he got caught up in technicalities... I don't know, whether he's doing solos or rhythmic parts, it seems to me that his melodies are quite "catchy"...

It's not copied, you know.. but there are several expressions like that final one that are taken from there.. I mean, it’s clear that you organized it following the guidelines from that link.. it would be a 4/5, but for this I'm lowering your grade.

Beautiful.. great television.. to me "adventure" feels a bit too repetitive compared to the first one and lacks ideas (a 3/5, I would say), but "marquee moon" is exceptional, I have never listened to this live.
