Hi Lord, I'm back. "They have been the decade of the destruction of the musician's personal style, in favor of painstaking productions or falsely raw ones." I imagine you have no clue what math rock is. Do you know people like Don Caballero or Laddio Bolocko? For example, huh?

I had never realized there was a page on Hanrahan, so congratulations just for that. I like Vertical Currency, but Coup de Tête was truly a beautiful album.

I have to say I find myself more on the mocking side, Fest. I really liked inventions for electric guitar, an important precursor to techno, sure. But I found it really too long and monotonous. And okay, it’s a trance record, but I just didn’t like it at all; for me, it has aged horribly. To sum it up, what a drag.

ah here it is. well, I don't know, maybe it’s not for you. besides having little in common with those groups you mentioned, he’s an extremely austere musician (which for some could translate to having two giant balls), so be careful. If you want to hurt yourself, try his album with dadamah (there's only one) or with Temple IV, which is purely guitar-based. But remember, a warned man... :)

mmm, watch out for that, he's a "critic's" musician. Jokes aside, to me he's immense (like the greatest guitarist of all time), but he’s not for everyone just like John Fahey isn't. What music do you like? Depending on the names, I'll tell you if you should give it a listen or if you should avoid it like the plague.

Bubi, you need to see Lord's comment in context with comments like "the swans, the labradfords, the god machine are commercial" and "steve albini made slint commercial and lives in a golden villa." He's someone who uses Google (not that anyone has ever done that, right?) and then comes here to post. So his is simply not an opinion. The argument he’s been pushing for ages is that recent music sucks, only to go listen to deep purple and believe they’re great music. I can accept that since the 90s there has been a decline (even though there are immense musicians like roy montgomery), but I don't like (regarding debaser, I don’t take it too seriously) that they shoot out nonsense for free. About My Bloody Valentine: well, I don’t think they’re a critics’ band; they appeal to a lot of people and were very important in defining a new sound for the guitar. I don’t particularly love them either, but that's another story. On Germano: if you’ve heard Geek the Girl and you don’t like it, then you won’t like anything else of hers. However, it’s not like that list of musicians exhausts what the 90s have to offer; there’s really an incredible amount of stuff and different genres. In fact, I think the decline in quality is also due to the fact that too much stuff is being recorded.

Lord, your attempt to show off comes quite a bit too late, after a string of nonsense. We get it, you know how to use Google. Unless, since you had tested me with the trips, you want to do a test like "tell me what's happening at that minute." But the fact is that, first, I wasn't asking you but Bubi, and second, as a certain Voltaire would say, I don't share your opinion but I couldn't care less.

Have you heard about the Germano?

Lord, weren’t you over there? Anyway, Bubi, you don’t share the same opinions as Lord: you’ve actually listened to the bands (personally, I’m not crazy about My Bloody Valentine).

dear hooligan friend Lord, I must say I adore people who, when they have nothing left to say after spouting nonsense (like Albini as Puff Daddy or the commercial swans), start to insult for no reason at all. You are the true soul of debaser, keep it up, never give up.
