Come on, you know how I feel about it... it's just that what Maledetta does makes you reflect on certain things that maybe passionate fans overlook, I mean if he tells me (from memory) "this song is a scream," or "the guitars change for 0.01 seconds and then, disgusted by such boldness, start doing a good job again," it makes me laugh because I understand what he means. If you took the first album by the Dead Kennedys, for instance, a band you adore, and slammed it down, throwing crap at it in the same way, I would have been your number one loyal reader. He preaches satanism and kills animals: this seems worse to me than the CCCP logo issue, but let’s really wrap it up here, it was just a small digression. But wasn't Benton supposed to commit suicide at 33, as he always claimed? Anyway, you see, of course you can express an opinion, that’s fine and we’re still friends, I keep listening to what I like. Just that 1) you limit yourself to saying punk is crap, you don’t provide reasons for why it’s crap 2) and especially, you could have done the review on 1978! Not for me since I know it by heart, but if you piqued someone’s curiosity, that wouldn't have been bad. But isn't that the purpose of a review? :D
