The Residents Not Available
Voto:
It was strange that your contribution was missing here! Yes, let's start an Italian fan club for the Residents and for "not available." Anyone who doesn't appreciate this album deserves a sad life :) A. Ege, how I managed to give you four, I don’t know. Small aside: I still haven't been able to see Eraserhead, it was given to me but the VHS was absolutely wrecked. If it's an experience similar to this album, I have to see it at all costs...

Cool, you're mistaken, you think you were the first on the enk forum (and I replied to you), but both I and others got there before you, hehe. With the penis, of course.
Stevie Wonder Songs In The Key Of Life

uhm, once again I agree with Odra, this album has a lot of talent and eclecticism but a somewhat naive spirit...good, but I wouldn’t have bothered Miles. These days I am quite pedantic :)

Damn, Snowdonia... it seems like really cool stuff. Francis, I totally disagree about hits: if a band is making music thinking it needs to produce a hit, they are already "selling out" automatically. No no, and the Residents aren’t in history because they don’t have hits? Many of our bands lack hits, but they lack the courage to break away from certain models. By the way, to refer back to a band you mentioned, but this is just my personal point of view, I definitely prefer the Afterhours of “Bye bye Bombay” and “Bungee jumping” or “Milano circonvallazione esterna” over those of “Non è per sempre.” “Male di miele” or “Baby fiducia”...
PGR D'anime e d'animali

What I've heard about the PGR (almost everything) hasn't impressed me. I agree with the analysis; I also like the CSI less for various reasons, while the PGR makes me yawn. Although it seems to me that even the CCCP didn't appeal to you much: for me (referring to the CCCP), their shortcomings are technical, not musical. But let's not reopen old discussions :) I'll see them live in a few days, I'll be back here...

But are you complimenting yourself now? Yes, it's not a 5 for me (said by an admirer of Morphine), but "whisper" is phenomenal, extraordinary... how long does it last? 3 minutes? Less? But what a song, what a style. Everyone talks about Pastorius, Clarke, Wooten, Claypool, Patitucci, and assorted virtuosos, and no one ever mentions Mark Sandman, much less loquacious than his famous peers but with endless class... what a musician.

Absolutely, Godano flies over us at four thousand feet (even if K. who has met him says otherwise), the After are a good band but nothing extraordinary, Capossela draws heavily from Tommasino's repertoire (the other one I've never heard of). But maybe there are not just Marlene and After but a ton of bands working their asses off in the cellar and nobody pays attention to them...
Joy Division Closer

The "black tape for a blue girl" are a band described as "gothic" (I hope no one tells me now: how can you reduce black tape, etc., etc. :D), not exactly dark, but the atmosphere of "the eternal" always reminds me of them. Basically, their entire career is one big "the eternal". Get them, in the den they will resonantly fill the space with sinister reverberations, with their vain decadent vices. Great. And to think that I didn't like them at first.

It's true, Odra, the Eternal is truly beautiful. I feel so decadent. And what a cover, capperetti. Tell me, do you like black tape for a blue girl?
