Marlene Kuntz Il Vile

Great album, along with Catartica the best. But ... never mind my idiosyncrasies. The lyrics are often a colossal wank. However, "Come stavamo ieri" is underrated; for me it's a great track. And catchy or not, it has a literally devastating ending.

mmm, mine was a general discussion. Let's be clear: saying that Garbarek is a crappy musician is really far from the truth, it's just that I've listened to about 5 albums and found them all very, very similar. But what I see as a flaw, others might see as a virtue: after a while, it kind of started to smell conventional to me, perhaps. Regarding the samples, if you include them, dear Hal, you’d be doing me a huge favor :) bye

mc, I feel directly involved here as a Sardinian. The people and political factions in our region that demand autonomy are usually comparable to the Lega in terms of sophistication and culture. Forget about it, look. We’re just one step away from isolating ourselves even more.

Okay Odra, I trust you. I still have doubts, but I trust you. It’s unrelated, but I lost track of Anthony Braxton. Hal, have you seen him?

I haven't felt this. At first, I really liked Garbarek, but over time he exhausted me: I heard it first from a friend: the flaw is that everything I've heard seems the same, all very clean, all cold, or rather, more than cold, perfect, squeaky clean and aesthetic (well, it's ECM): at some point, it just becomes a relaxing background. Even though there are some very beautiful pieces, huh. I remember pieces sung by a great singer that were really beautiful. But is this also "pure" Garbarek, or does he finally change a bit?

Hi you charming rascal. I'm starting to feel the gods now (thanks M.!). But I'm offended that you took me out of the review. You’re betraying me with Trell or with Odra, right?
Tim Buckley Goodbye And Hello

Great review, Enk, but if I were to give this a 5, I would give a blue afternoon a 6, happy sad and starsailor a 7, and Lorca an 8... clear, it's Buckley and it's a very beautiful album nonetheless. My favorite is definitely I never asked to be your mountain. But they're all beautiful, really. It's just that here the star navigator hadn't set off yet; let's say he was packing his bags.

No, I mentioned you because you're a Genesis fanatic :) and I, on the other hand, don't rave about them.
