A Japanese gem: The superhero Ultralion, more kitschy than Megaloman (and that's saying something) and more ridiculous than the Power Rangers (and that's really saying something). His cardboard weapons were fantastic, but the pathetic heap of junk he peddled as a streamlined vehicle was a gem (or however the hell you spell it).

Devilman and Kenshiro are classics... but I was drawn not only to the violence but also to the trashy aspect. For example: why did Tiger Mask still wear his tiger mask even on a plane?
