Brian Eno - David Byrne My Life In A Bush Of Ghosts
Voto:
Yes, it seems that the idea was from God Hassell and that Syvian and Eno appropriated it. But I miss it, for heaven's sake, and that's not acceptable, no way. Enè, before and after is beautiful; if you can be found at the usual place tonight, we can talk about it. In the meantime, I’ve found my telematic virility again. I’ll show it to you later. The list of files, I mean.

perfect review, I fully agree, the discussion on the epos is truly sharp. Yow may not have the voice to sing, but he sings great, a school of David Thomas and Nick Cave, and Danison is intelligence personified as a guitarist (along with Pajo, although in a slightly different way). For me, this is on the same level as Goat.

I despair of ignorance. I'm playing the wild card; before revealing the movie, give me a hint, assuming Enea or Trell don't figure it out first. Calling home like on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" wouldn't help me; they're more ignorant than I am.

No, you're drawing the wrong conclusions; my idea of minimalism is a bit different from the simple concept of repetition. But in the photo, are you lying on a tree? It reminds me of "Northern Sky" by Nick Drake, which I dedicate to you: I never felt magic crazy as this/
I never saw moons knew the meaning of the sea/
I never held emotion in the palm of my hand/
Or felt sweet breezes in the top of a tree/
But now you're here/
Brighten my northern sky.

Odra, your lair is close to the dump, and nearby Ryley comes to play? Be careful then with the gun, just in case you end up killing Philip Glass instead of the rats.

"It's you who trivializes the concept of minimalism, which aims to put repetition at the center of the discussion." Hey, I didn't say anything like that! Don't make easy deductions... then I quickly realized I needed to adjust my tone: the melodies are not banal to me, but certainly simple from a harmonic standpoint. Listen to the clusters in Volumina, though, or the sublime stasis of Lux Aeterna before you speak, dear :)

telepathy maybe Odra;) I would really love to see it live too. Then here on this rock, apart from a few scruffy jazz musicians, no one ever sets foot, and I can even get lost with them. Don't even get me started on missed concerts, my heart is huge like this.

mmm, I still think differently. I enjoy hearing very different opinions, no shyness at all; then the comparison/conflict is perfectly fine, but at least I learn something too. For example: a classical music enthusiast friend of mine hates Ryley (whom I really like), and he says to me, "I don’t like it because the melodies are trivial, and even though I know that melody per se is not the essence of minimalism, it bothers me." Now, whether you agree or not, it is an opinion that speaks some truth about Ryley's music: the melodies are trivial. Anyone looking to listen to refined melodies is going to steer clear after such a comment. It’s a clumsy concept, but the gist of my argument is this. If his comment were limited to "(I don’t like it, but it’s a) masterpiece," 5 - 5 would become redundant. I wanted to show you that I know how to use redundant in a coherent sentence, that's all.

And then, if we all agreed, how would we manage to tear each other apart? Italian is abandoning me, help.
