The Residents Not Available

Faust and residents, it would have made a great partnership :)

Yes, good, the Faust are an excellent point of reference; their giggly smile seems to have come straight from this record. I also recommend the first album by The Residents, very similar and very, very beautiful (even if this one remains the masterpiece).

mmm, I see it differently from you. Dark is Rising is a nice piece of grandeur, the lullaby that closes Lincoln's Eye is beautiful, but for the rest, nothing unforgettable for me, and I really like the (early) Mercury Rev. Pop, and not particularly inspired either. Yet I've listened to it quite a bit. Tides of the Moon has a bit of atmosphere, A Drop In Time tries to redo Endlessly but doesn’t quite make it, considering that even Deserter was certainly better but still inferior to the earlier records. Then to say that "Hercules a sublime guitar catharsis transports us, like through a magical musical Stargate, into the deep interstellar space hidden in the pauses between chords, words, and meanings." is really an exaggeration. Sorry, maybe it’s because I’m caught up in Faust 4 (speaking of musical stargates) and I'm still searching for my jaw, every record in comparison these days (and perhaps for a long time) will seem ugly to me. In fact, I recommend it to you as well; if you appreciate the early Mercury Rev you might like it (actually, I don’t know who wouldn’t like it). I’m curious to know if that record appeals to people who are indie on the inside. And we understand this in three:)))
Dirty Three Whatever You Love, You Are

Great enk, I was doing it, and I was writing it the same way. The more reviews you do, the more I see that we have similar tastes. Beautiful album, "I offered it up" is one of the most important tracks of the decade, Lullaby for Christie is one of the most romantic tracks of the decade, and equally moving is "I Really Should've Gone Out Last Night," just as beautiful as the title. This album grows with each listen, perhaps even more beautiful if possible than Ocean Songs, and much more beautiful than Horse Stories. Three greats, I love the drummer and the guitarist, but Warren Ellis is for me one of the greatest musicians in the history of rock. I'm going out on a limb. Here you go.

Sorry mc, I only just realized the ironic tone. It's old age. And now I'm going to look for my dentures.

BandaBardò Concerto - Carbonia 31 luglio 2005

You have to get used to debaser: here Caz is not an exclamation, but a flesh-and-blood person who lives in the north of the island, hates concerts, misses Fresu but goes to see bandabardò. A clever one, basically :D
