But can you imagine if I caused the same fuss you do just because you don't like the CCCP, which you don't even know? You'll find plenty of other great records. You're making such a big deal out of the fact that Gianni-Odradek and I, through a conspiracy that even the cigar man from X-Files could never have conceived, gave a 4 instead of a 5 to an album while also making plenty of nice distinctions? Are we really talking about this? Come on, I can't believe it...

Good job. You're right, they're just noises. But among my favorite pieces, I included Krautrock, while you put Dalla. Explain it all, right?

I was telling the Sicilian, of course. Mr, do you realize that we've been talking about nothing for hours? Anyway, hysteria manifests when one starts to give in :DD About nothing, but he's giving in.

Enè, you may be amused and laughing, but while joking around, you don't share certain things. Then the psychedelia that you like is Wishyouwere. That's fine, but it's not the kind of sounds I'm referring to when talking about psychedelia. "Look, it's a psychedelic record blabla..." yes, I know, but it's not that type of sounds where we see things differently. With love

5? Of the few records I know? Let's see...Arbeit, Maledetti - Area, Live in punkow - cccp, Compagni cittadini - cccp, Alice non lo sa - De Gregori, Via paolo fabbri - Guccini. For me (for me), for the stuff I've heard (I) that's enough.

While I know the Ninth Symphony very well, I know little about classical music; it was a provocation for you. I prefer other stuff over the Ninth. Yes, relativist to the end, alè. It was about the aforementioned issue regarding 5s and 4s. These are just numbers, a very rough way not to give an objective value, but to express how much you like an album. And that "how much you like" is inevitably in relation to your other listens. They're apples and oranges up to a certain point; it's always music. I don't know about Dalla, and you've piqued my curiosity. I can say something about De Gregori. I really like him; I love the lyrics, I like how they fit together with the music, which, despite being so simple, works well. However, I prefer La Pecora and Alice. And when I think about foreign music, I find albums I like more (not necessarily better, I'm repeating this for the tenth time), even among singer-songwriters. I also think that as a genre, classic singer-songwriting has quite a few musical limitations; after the millionth loop of C, you start to appreciate more imaginative things (I'm speaking for myself). And the comparison stands: if I think of Buckley's "Happy Sad," that's a singer-songwriter album worth 5 (for me). Then you should check my ratings: 2 for Aja by Steely Dan, 3 for the second Soft Machine album (an album I've listened to a hundred times, beautiful, yet I rated it low), 3 for Court and Spark, which I don't know if you're familiar with. But indeed, to clarify those dry little numbers, there's a comment, but why are you focusing on this damned number? The only thing you could do is give meaning to the numbers like 5=beautiful, too good; 4=very good; 3=good; 2=sufficient; 1=insufficient. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense. Or it does have a meaning, since you mentioned Caz: one gives scores, and if you have similar tastes, you decide if it might interest you. But if you give 5 to everything, how the hell am I supposed to understand what you like more? On Debaser, there's the trend of millions of 5s, but one is more of a 5 than another, and it reminds me of when I used to drive my Renault 5 down the hills, and when I reached the bottom of the scale, I didn't know how fast I was going because the speedometer didn't go beyond 130. Or whatever it was :)
