Ah, good. Of course, if your self-confidence increases in line with your exams, when you graduate we will truly have a better world.

No, I don't even know the basics. A' Marco85: is that the first name, or is 85 the last name? Show me your damn things.

If you say so, there’s a good chance that’s not just the album cover but also the photo on his license. Anyway, the hypothesis that he’s on a sailboat, caught at the stern in a moment of relaxation while gliding over the open sea keeps intriguing me.

I can't figure out what's in the background, if it's a wall or if it's leaning against something like a tilted chair and that's the floor... but honestly, it looks more like a sail of a boat.

Curiosity: apparently, among the ten desert island discs of Partridge from XTC, he claims to have been greatly influenced by them. His words: "they had the most fluid guitarist I have ever heard, Ollie Halsall. His way of playing influenced me a lot; it was more akin to the sax, piano, or vibraphone than to traditional rock guitar. He was a breathtaking guitarist, incredibly fast and not trapped by guitar clichés."

The review is really beautiful and passionate, but I probably wouldn’t have listened to it if I hadn’t read Antonio’s comment and his comparison to none other than Holdsworth. In fact, my first reaction was to think, "oh, that’s an exaggeration...", but knowing his taste and expertise in guitar, I gave the album a listen. I no longer think it’s "exaggerated." Holdsworth is truly the right comparison, even though this Halsall is definitely less cerebral, while still using his lovely twisted scales. Speaking of exaggerations, in my opinion, this guy technically outshines Hendrix, and as for taste, he’s not lacking at all. Very fun, very refined, and also pretty tough, a bit southern too. A nice straight sound; it’s really strange they haven’t had more luck. Symbab, go for it, I confirm you'll enjoy it just the same.
