"I add that making classical music is not a matter of genres, but it is the cultured artist who creates classical music." I agree.

Honestly, there are quite a few people in punk who play just a little better. Just a little. It's not really a matter of technique, and this discussion has already been had a thousand times.

I would be quite amused to see the baffled faces of those who think in such compartmentalized ways (punk: they can’t play, prog: they can play) when they first hear the Pop Group (a primitivist punk band) and then the Rip Rig + Panic formed from the Pop Group, who made incredibly technical and refined fusion. Or even to see Steve Vai playing with Johnny Rotten's PiL.

And if I say that what I like the most is yerself, how do you flip the script? And if I listen to noisy bands because I'm a hippie, and if I listen to pop it's because I don't understand the noise. Come on, you want to play the gnorry like you usually do.

If I had to mess around, I'd say this is a misstep and a deserter a step away from brilliance. Come on, get a grip. And you know very well that I have nothing against pop.

a-ah, I got you hooked! Besides the fact that I like Eskimo but don't consider it a masterpiece (I've said it before, there are Residents albums that I prefer...), and that I don't listen to Trout Mask Replica every day (but it is undeniably a great album): from Dark Side, the one I really like is Great Gig, the rest much less, and please let’s not get into the length of the tracks, which means and doesn't mean, and by the way there are a couple of tracks over seven minutes. I just think that, for me, this is worth more than Deserter (and Dark Side, obviously).
