maybe you misinterpreted my tone (since I participated in the discussion about the voice as well, huh). Anyway, no, but who talked about jeff's mediocrity, are we kidding (at least I steer clear of that)? The low notes were my idea, (I think of tim buckley in lorca and jeff buckley in... lilac wine? now I'm curious, I can't recall a single moment... mojo pin? I don’t know, you tell me... seriously, nothing comes to mind...

the one about the extension is definitely a discussion like this (like many discussions on debaser, it’s not fundamental for the continuation of humankind). as for the low notes, I doubt Jeff can manage, without taking anything away from him; he's a great singer. As for the nonsense in the last part of his career, even Buckley himself was quite disgusted by it, and he said so explicitly. Albums made out of bitterness just to make a living (although Greetings is certainly dignified), fully aware of their level (to clarify that as "rubbish," they still hold more value than many albums considered acceptable).

Come on, 5 just for the humility, and since your tastes often align with mine, I’ll revisit this: I only caught it lightly once, with the intention of coming back to it, and I still haven’t done so. Your last comment makes it mandatory for me to give it another listen.

Eh? What’s wrong, love? Honestly, more than an album cover, it looks like a package of Bonomelli flower filters, and the review honestly doesn’t promise much better content. But we know I’m a nasty, disdainful, and suspicious person. Recensor_, if you’re there, make a sound, clear the fog.

From "goodbye and hello" to a happy sad/blue afternoon, there is already a distinct change in style. There is also a clear shift in vocal style on Starsailor (Lorca, as far as the voice is concerned, is still similar to the two previous ones), where it moves closer to the avant-garde. On Greetings, it changes again, shifting to funky soul (and there's even a track like Devil Eyes where it really lets loose). In short, take, take!

Have you heard about Tim? Because he’s changing his style quite a bit...

You know, I have heard the live performances of both, and as you well know, I don't have that kind of prejudice (actually: I discovered Jeff first, and my initial prejudices were towards Tim), but honestly, I really find the father to be truly superior.
