Look, I don't kiss anyone's ass, idiot. I like how he writes; he doesn’t have to give me any job. About De Gregori, of course (I know you by now), with your last comment you revealed that you know nothing. I mentioned three albums: what are the three or four songs you’re talking about? Obviously, you'll respond (ah! déjà vu!) that I'm free to think however I want and that you know what you’re saying, without getting into the specifics of what the songs are.

If you knew what you were talking about, instead of making these ridiculous challenges, you would realize that, without taking anything away from Gaetano, whom I like very much as a lyricist (much less as a musician), he is still overall inferior to De Gregori, given that the prince has also made albums (after the first ones, which are the best) like De Gregori, Terra di nessuno, Titanic. That is, at least 7 albums of absolute quality. Then Degregorius spews nonsense in abundance about other singer-songwriters, but it’s clear who speaks with knowledge of the cause (like a Grassopher, who is very much more balanced than you two for a reason) and who doesn’t and simply chooses a side like a fan.

Ah, I didn't remember the song. I leave you to your rankings, reminding you that your credibility is what it is, considering, for example, the Guccini matter, which you rambled on about without knowing half of his discography, and I don't feel like talking to someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

Sorry Dave, but which song would that be? I don't even know myself.

Sure, Fidia, of course I remember, quite a few nice titles came out. After all, I regret, thinking back, that the possibility of doing movie reviews was scrapped; a lot of people here immediately warm up to talking about films (myself included). About Cannibal... it has its merits, but it still doesn't excite me for various reasons, and not because it's heavy, you know. To be honest, Gibson gets on my nerves a bit, and I haven't even seen the film on The Passion, but I'm tempted by this one; damn, he made the film about my favorite pre-Columbian civilization, cursed be him!

By the way, I haven't seen "Lidris cuadrade di tre," which they say is amazing, like the best Italian horror of the last twenty thousand years. If anyone knows, please speak up.

I was a bit disappointed by Suspiria, but perhaps the issue is that, given the current debates over definitions, it's more of a gothic film than a horror one, which is what I was expecting. However, in hindsight, I must say it’s a beautiful film and I've reassessed it quite a bit, even though for me Profondo Rosso with "la casa delle finestre che ridono" is the best of Italian horror/thriller/something else.

Even the black sun ensemble (speaking of Savage Republic) and Peter Gabriel. Fest, the connection with Montgomery isn't immediate, but you're right, it fits really well, even though he uses guitar instead of exotic instruments. I've only heard the Charalambides mentioned (and I've heard very good things about them), are they worth it? throw out some names! :))

and also Stephan Micus. In fact, if anyone knows of any band that is inspired by the Third Ear Band, feel free to mention it, as I'm taking notes :)
