It is still enjoyable to watch, even though for me it's not a masterpiece (and certainly not Kurosawa's best, strictly imho).
Bill Frisell Have A Little Faith

Yes, the one with Naked City is cool, while I don't know News for Lulu... but I was more interested in his solo works with the guitar in the foreground maybe :) curiosity

I gave it only a couple of listens and I must say I wasn't impressed (but obviously I'm not voting). Earlier, I listened to "In Line" and I really didn't like it. Another album (which I don't remember what it was) also left me rather lukewarm: now, I wonder, yet when I heard him at Umbria Jazz years ago paired with Joe Pass, he seemed exceptional... I'm asking all the Frisell enthusiasts here: can you recommend an album, the one you consider his best (your favorite, so we avoid misunderstandings)?
David Lynch Una Storia Vera

simply one of the most poetic films I have ever seen, to show to anyone who says that Lynch is all fluff and can't make normal, linear films. One of his top 4 (for me).

Understood, he will wait a little longer :)

I miss this, but I've been curious to see it for a long time since I've always read that it's really scary. However, I see you all very lukewarm about it, mmm... but when you say that "the ending is one of the most terrible you can imagine," do you mean it's chilling or just plain bad?
Kevin Smith Clerks (Commessi)

Um, I’m really far from your enthusiasm: it didn’t say much to me. It made me laugh a bit, but I admit I also found it a bit heavy.
Martin Scorsese Quei bravi ragazzi

I also prefer Goodfellas to Casino (and also to Mean Streets; I share Alias's opinion) precisely because it has a much better pace, which makes it my absolute favorite mafia movie, even above The Godfather. Easy, for something to be mannered there has to be some precedent, but I see it as decidedly original (and very different from Mean Streets). Joe Pesci and De Niro are unforgettable.
