@DaveJon: Ok. I take this opportunity to wish you and Bjork a Merry Christmas in advance!
Bruce Cockburn High Winds White Sky
Voto:
Well done, Gino. But I don't believe that these are melodies and intimacies for everyone, even if that may not mean much. The high winds accompany solitudes, and the white skies invite the eyes to seek the color that best suits our moods. I am pleased to notice that Pier Paolo Farina has also been pierced by the beauty of Cockburn, and that makes me very happy. Just as I am glad to have read such a beautiful review of such a beautiful album.
Patti Smith Easter

Great was the Patti in this vinyl Easter!
Il Rovescio Della Medaglia Contaminazione
Voto:
The album is beautiful, well-made, and the band was definitely there. However, Ciao 2001 and RAI back then, as it has been said, only promoted the artists we know (and in part, it's still like that now). I don't know the other two works by Enzo Vita's group, but this is a very dignified project that even outshines the pompous "Concerto Grosso" by New Trolls. The review is enthusiastic but comprehensive. Perhaps a bit schoolish. Nevertheless, for me, it’s acceptable.
Morgan Non Al Denaro, Non All'Amore Né Al Cielo

DaveJon: broadly speaking, I wouldn't disagree with you. However, I've heard from reliable sources some not particularly flattering tales about him. Now, for heaven's sake, we could face the old dilemma of whether the artist's image can be tarnished by morally questionable behavior in the realm of their private life. As for the work in question, I still maintain the opinion (in the meantime, I've bought the album) that there is some good and talented stuff, for sure. Whether these elements exist throughout all his work, I can't say.
David Crosby If I Could Only Remember My Name

.........that together with the intro of "Wind on Water" (with Nash) forms one of the most intense testimonies to the vocal and emotional greatness of this immeasurable character.
Roy Wood Boulders
Voto:
Yes, Roy Wood is truly a bizarre and curious character. I got "Mustard" a few months ago, and it really has everything in it. I would love to get it, but back then (about a year ago) it wasn't exactly easy to find. Nice review. (It might have been nice to mention that Wood was one of the founders of the commercial Electric Light Orchestra.)
Robert Wyatt The End Of An Ear
Voto:
I wouldn't know, it's a confusing album, ahead of its time, complex, difficult, challenging, sensational. It's hard to give it a rating. For once, I'll abstain. I'm on the side of the rockbottomists.
Brian Eno Music For Films
Voto:
@Chae: Great idea! Watch out for Eno's early CDs: they are "something else" (oblique Rock) as extraordinary as they are. Happy discovering and Merry Christmas!!
Paco de Lucía, Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin Friday Night In San Francisco

@iltiziana: What was meant was the way the comment was framed... It’s clear that (especially on Debaser) no one is prohibited from expressing a comment on a particular work; one would hope, however, always, I repeat, with "appropriate" manners. Nothing too serious, for heaven's sake; more than anything, I suppose, it's a matter of style.
