Ah... speaking of favorite tracks: have you ever listened to the version of "'Cause we've ended as Lovers" (S. Wonder) that appears on "Blow by Blow"?

I have been a great fan of Jeff Beck ever since the late '70s when "Blow by Blow" and "Wired" even brushed against jazz territories. His touch on the Gibson (but also on Fender) is extraordinary and unmistakable. The blues has always been in him. However, this one really got to me. I don't recognize all this booming as something genuine. And it's an album that's just too heavy. But Jeff is also older now, and maybe even a bit deaf. Well... now, maybe I listen more to Beck without Jeff... Well done Pierpaolo, great review.

I bought this album twice. The first time in the second half of the '70s and the second a couple of years ago. Perhaps Pier Paolo Farina is right. Sinfield, whose figure represents for me a genuine icon to be preserved as a lasting reminder of the great idealistic, poetic, and dreamy landscapes of the '70s, is perhaps more of a poet than a true musician and, after all, I believe he knows it too. I'm sorry I don't have the two extra tracks from the "Stillusion" edition (a little nagging thought did pop up...), but "Still" is, in my opinion, an album with an extraordinary cover, yet modest content and without grand ambitions, despite featuring some really great names. I visited the website mentioned in the review and it left me speechless to see how he looks today at sixty years old, the beloved Pete Sinfield. Sadly unrecognizable. A beautifully educational review, heartfelt and convincing.

Since the purpose of the lengthy insertion (in English as well) regarding this work escapes me, I would like to understand the meaning of this from this Mr. King. Thank you in advance.

Mr. Antoniodeste does not have a strong inclination towards album reviews. This can even be seen historically on Debaser. Perhaps it's due to laziness or indecision (among thousands of titles I would like to write about), but the fact remains that I prefer to comment and enjoy others' reviews. After all, one cannot say, Dante, that there aren’t enough of them or that Debaser is lacking in contributors. In any case, being an eccentric person, I do not rule out the possibility that sooner or later something with my signature might appear.

@Giacomo Saldi: You were terse, but I believe the concept was expressed very clearly. Wise words...
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin III

It's one of the most beautiful reviews of III by the Zep that I've had the chance to read. Spontaneous, immediate, rustic, enthusiastic, and deeply credible. There's no argument about the quality of this work, nor about its "staying power" after 37 years. It seems clear to many now that III has nothing to envy from the first, the second, or the fourth. However, Macciopiccio has provided a truly original, sometimes ironic, and very personal account of it. This is absolutely commendable to me. I don't often give two fives, in fact, almost never. My heartfelt compliments.

On my part, you are forgiven. One condition: Don't do it again. After all, I don't think you need it.
