@The Avenger: even though I haven't even come close to feeling any anger or anything like that, given the meagerness of the repeated and incomprehensible things you write and your clumsy/childish attempts to justify yourself about figures that can only be defined as thin, I prefer to end it here with you. It seems to me I've understood by now that it's simply not worth trying to have a meaningful dialectical relationship with you. And I invite you, if you must curse me, insult me, or involve me in your mental creations, to do it at least privately since I suppose other readers don't give a damn (unless, of course, you are an exhibitionist with a sick craving for the spotlight). If you avoid it, obviously it's better, as I won't be responding anyway. I hope this last message is coming through loud and clear.

Wow Ludovica! Your smile is rising higher and higher! It's really a shame that you live so far from my lands, because I have a feeling we would have some great "afternoons" discussing the sex of angels and the color of Napoleon's white horse. The term "personaggia" is meant in a VERY positive sense, especially after reading your thorough (and entertaining) personal profile. It's hard to find someone as genuine as you around here. And the part about you lounging on your bed watching movies or DVDs on your new 42-inch LCD (Christmas gift) really made my upper lip curl up to my ears. (Even Doris Day was laughing, and "Evaristo...") I'm a true cinephile, or at least I think so, and also a bit of a chatterbox, so even though I try to limit myself to about ten lines, sometimes, often actually, I slip and end up writing two hundred.... Maybe I'll write to you privately, because I feel something curious or stimulating is going to come out...... Kisses, yours Antonio.

Ah, Avenger, I almost forgot: I still haven't received clarification regarding your post 122 (with my request 123...).

@Mariaelena: I wouldn't know!! I'll take the opportunity to give you a tight hug, considering the cold... @Il giustiziere: well, listen, do whatever you want, but as far as I'm concerned, your "warlike games" would be better suited to be played somewhere else, for all the good they do for this community. There are already enough real wars going on (and painful ones) without the need to start any others, especially for those four nonsense we write (myself included) on this site... I hope I've been clear. Thank you.

I'm glad to find so many people I like in this thread who, it's true, have been exchanging opinions about one of my heroes for at least thirty years, even if with some intervals or doubts. @Omaha: you are too kind to me! I'll have to send you a giant pizza by mail...! @Conte: I agree with your opinion on Andrea: it's true: he is (like Omaha as well) a deep connoisseur of Pat and his opinion carries weight. @Uxo: I find the adjective "odoroso" you've used to describe the review a bit heavy. I don't think it deserves that definition. I repeat that personally I agree with Macaco's further specification in defining it as experimentation. I find it very simple, direct, spontaneous, and even tender in its apparent or intentional adolescent tone. Maybe it's just a personal impression, but sometimes I prefer "linear" analyses and life memories to complicated and/or obscure philological or musicological research. About the album: I'm fully aligned with Omaha's views. @Uxo: I don't know if you've read it elsewhere, but I would like to thank you again for the remarkable "Upojenie" by Metheny with Jopek, which I only discovered on December 31 last year. Omaha, if you don't have it, get it! There are two versions of "So may it secretly begin" and "Are you going with me?" that are absolutely worth listening to... and then, of course, the rest. Sorry for the lengthy post, but I think it was necessary.

Well, today I realized that The Vigilante went to sift through my (few) reviews and gave what he could. However, I didn't understand what the "Apollo" synthesizer is and what the adjective "smodata" means when applied to the suite "Karn Evil 9". I would appreciate some clarifications. Thank you.

Given a recent experience, and while thanking for the generosity of the vote given to the review (and the only vote given to the work), I don't know how much I can believe that post 20 is the product of the person who submitted it. A credible description, nonetheless, but cold and detached. It has nothing to do with the atmosphere of the work, unfortunately.

@Macaco: And why not? @Ludo: every time I read something of yours, my lips curve slightly upwards :) you must be quite a character, I think.... And come on, explain to me: how did your old nick "Frithurik" come about? A... maccheronica frying in German style? A nod to the guitarist of Henry Cow? Enlighten me!

But what a wonderful schizo personality! Thank you for the tip. ;-). Certain people should be intellectually banned and "executed." Now forgive me, but I have to go throw up.
