Poor man, after years of oblivion (which is still reigning today), when this gem was released, he bought seven copies of the pile to read the review and explain to all of us about those magnificent electroindustrial days. La bellezza riunita is one of the greatest pieces in the history of Italian music. The intro, with the title track, shocks every fan of lucio-acquaazzurraacquachiara every time I play it in the stereo when asked "how's Battisti's latest album?". In my opinion, it's not that groundbreaking; it could have been better. It's an album from 1994. Simply not from the 1994 Italian scene, but from the global one, made up of ambient-pop, trip-hop, and whatever else you can think of. One of the few Italian albums from the '90s (just like the other works of lucio panelliano) that could stand up to the international scene. Overall rating for Battisti's entire career: 3.5; rating for the single album: 4.
