Lùnapop ...Squérez?

Yes, sometimes I whistle Cristina D'Avena and the songs of the Catholic Action, but that doesn't make it good music.

To tell the truth, I've never listened to the album, but the children's choir in "Another Brick" has always made me throw my hands up in despair.

I listened to it, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. Maybe it's because the sound of the organ really gets on my nerves, it's just too overpowering. The only tracks I save are "End of the Night," "Alabama Song," and of course, "The End."

Sometimes I like Duran and they are likeable, but writing a "treatise on art" about this album seems a bit much to me.

You're welcome, guys. I've also added the sample from The Window: doesn’t it sound like Dido singing? Of course, it’s not her because she would have been five years old at the time, but it really does sound like her flutey voice. What do you think, is the comparison valid or am I just deaf?

Um…maybe if I had opted for a more diplomatic "ONE OF the greatest German bands of all time," I would have certainly earned more expressions of support, but perhaps you’re right, the fan in me has come out too openly, which a reviewer should never do, just as a commentator should never reveal the team they support. What can I say, inexperience, I’m new to the job, maybe I was upset because they had been ignored even on de-baser. The German bands you mentioned are all historical groups; some I like too, some I know too little about to judge them, but it seems to me that they all had a somewhat overly intellectual, too cold approach, while D.a.f. were more playful, more visceral, more ironic, and more down-to-earth as Kosmogabri said, but to me, that’s a positive thing and I prefer them. It’s a matter of taste; anyway, D.a.f. created at least two masterpieces, this one and "Gold und Liebe," and I also find the other four albums very successful, so I think they can easily hold their own against the sacred monsters you mentioned.
