I'm delving into doom recently... I picked up "The Silent Enigma" and "Eternity" by Anathema, and "The Gallery" by Dark Tranquillity. From My Dying Bride, I only have "The Angel And The Dark River"... from what I've heard, I find it to be a great genre... I found MDB a bit too advanced for someone like me who has just decided to dig a little deeper into this landscape... Anathema are awesome, but I feel more connected to the doom-death of Dark Tranquillity... if you want to recommend something else, I would be happy.
