Welcome
Vomit Remnants, Carnivorous, Godless Truth 3 Way Split

I didn't know that the practice of splits was a phenomenon specific to death... generally, it's a prerogative of black metal and politicized underground rock. It's obvious to say that I've never even heard of any of these three bands... great review, but, my friend, to be honest, I would never want you to review one of my albums... I have the impression that you are monstrously harsh in your judgments...

I have to admit that you catch me greatly unprepared... but from what you say, I must not have lost much...

I can only give you my best, but once again I disagree with you. Funeral doom? Sure. Sunn O)))? Fine... but I just can't hear Pink Floyd and Neurosis in this. Moreover, I fully consider this album black metal, filled with references as you rightly point out, but nonetheless, black metal references... for example, in Granite I hear a lot of the French band Celestia. Additionally, I really can't perceive the folk you mention... and come on, Mexico in the dreamy despair of Vortex Chalice? No way, I refuse! ;-P... you're destroying my myths! Anyway, congratulations again on the analysis.

In the new one. Of the tracks you can listen to, the only one where my contribution is not present is Evil Glory... in the others, it’s me on vocals.

So... the comparison to Bauhaus sent chills down my spine, and the review seems to put the album in a light that doesn't belong to it... while still acknowledging that you've written very well. I do agree with your hypothesis regarding Abruptum, that they could have been the founders of a new branch of black metal. The opportunity, as you said, has faded... that doesn’t mean someone else couldn’t pick up and nurture a seed that seems destined to rot. I’m noticing various experiments in the underground that give me hope... returning to the initial topic, I must also point out that, at least on my part, besides this album, I find "Evil Genius" enjoyable, and not much inferior. In any case, congratulations on the analysis of the album, which is clearly thorough and technical, even though it has led you to conclusions that differ from mine.

Right, that idiot Nattefrost, I had forgotten about him... and to think I even saw him live with Carpathian Forest: every now and then he would break into the song with some Italian word he had learned, like "formaggio."

Oh well, there are plenty of satirical bands in black metal... guaranteed amusement: I highly recommend Impaled Northern Moonforest, the side project Anal Cunt, or the glacially ridiculous The Return of Arctic Chillness by Satan's Penguin, and also another milestone, Snoboll Krieg - Sportlov... and to look back at the pioneers of the genre, one can only gaze at the early days of Impaled Nazarene.

Tepes, that reference to the protagonist of A Rebours seems out of place to me. Anyway, you are an artist, and an artist has their eccentricities...
Xasthur Telepathic With The Deceased
Voto:
Yes, perfect. You completely captured the spirit, my friend, although you make the music seem more cacophonous than it actually is... it's surely the fault/merit of the guitars: as you already mentioned, the arpeggios are dissonant, sick, absurd, but that doesn't make them any less melodic. Opinions anyway, as you already know Xasthur is a very subjective musical proposal. As for the expressiveness of the album, well, let it be known to those who don't know this artist that your review seems to be the direct emotional result of "Telepathic With The Deceased". Also try Nocturnal Poisoning.
