Well, war is not a foundational element of Nazism. It's merely a means: a means that is often used but still just a means. Nazi iconography draws heavily from traditions that would be much more black metal than Nazi. The circled crosses you're referring to are called "celtic crosses," just to name one. Panzerfaust, on the other hand, is just the name of a weapon... if they had called the CD Kalashnikov, would you have accused them of communism?

As usual, a review worthy of an anthology. As for the group... what can I say... I hope for the best, but I don’t trust it much... for the rest, I will get this promo as soon as possible.

Woytila was one of the greatest diplomats of the last century: if you lack the intellectual finesse to understand his political efforts, that’s your problem. The art of compromise is difficult: did you expect, like the old men at the bar, that the Pope would pull out the sword of the Templars from his robe and, shouting "Death to the Infidel!" stab Castro? Wisely, as an extremely shrewd man, he preferred to mediate, to gain influence over the figure he disapproved of, so that he could, in some way, "contain" him. And stop with this STUPID COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA... you tell me that the manifesto contains the same principles as Christianity? WHAT RUBBISH! The horrors that Christianity inflicted in the Middle Ages were replicated by communism in the TWENTIETH CENTURY. Communism is just Christianity gone mad... it disgusts me.

Iride, while you chat, I cite sources, and even better, I quote numbers: "According to independent estimates, the Catholic Church saved about 600,000 Jews (more than all other humanitarian organizations and Christian churches combined) thanks to the covert work of priests, friars, nuns, and laypeople, who surely operated with the secret blessing of Pope Pius XII. [6] It should be remembered that future popes Roncalli, Luciani, and Wojtyla saved and hid from the Germans groups and Jewish families. The Pope himself offered refuge to numerous Jews in the Vatican palaces and in Roman churches" Papa Pio XII - Wikipedia Best regards.

The symphonic has been leaving me puzzled for quite some time now, and I got tired of it when I was recommended it…. however, I mean, if Death says so... and you even compare them to Emperor… Then, I absolutely wasn't aware of these excellent members within the project… even Urgehal. I will make sure to listen and let you know… still on this genre, have you listened to Kristallnacht? What do you think? I’ll open a small parenthesis: for anyone interested in a debate about political interference in black metal and the historical controversies surrounding Christianity and Nazism during World War II, I recommend checking out the review of Walknut: Graveforest and their shadows by DarKNight.

Anyway, Wikipedia, which you yourself use as an example, refutes you dramatically...

And then there exists an encyclical by Pius XII, dated October 20, 1939, titled SUMMI PONTIFICATUS, which openly condemns the Nazi regime, its alliance with Stalin, and the invasion of Poland. The subsequent "silence" from the Vatican was a result of a clever calculation of probabilities: it was clear that attempting to negotiate with the Nazis would be suicide, as Rosemberg, the ideologue of Nazism, states. Pius XII preferred to operate secretly: during the war, an information office was set up in the Vatican tasked with the risky and difficult job of gathering information on deportees and the missing. Thanks to the efforts of the Roman Curia, Rome was declared an "open city," and the Vatican was able to shelter the persecuted and political figures from parties opposing the regime. Not only that, but Pius XII also provided economic support, in great secrecy, to Operation Orchestra Nera, consisting of Nazi dissidents, democratic leaders, Catholic priests, and Protestant ministers aimed at assassinating Hitler and stopping the war. There is much more to write about: you can find more information here EUGENIO PACELLI - PIO XII - BIOGRAFIA E ENCICLICA and, on Wikipedia, which I consider more reliable, here Papa Pio XII - Wikipedia particularly in the paragraph "seconda guerra mondiale." Now I move on: Ktulu, I should mention that I play black metal and collaborate with projects that are explicitly anti-Christian... however, I take pride in recognizing what is true. Prejudices only make you stupid.

oh well come on...you know how it is...I can quote websites too, and authoritative ones...There have been priests and parishes that, at the cost of their lives, hid racial and political persecuted individuals from the SS, sometimes even paying with their lives. It is well known that Hitler wanted to kidnap the pope because he was becoming an uncomfortable figure...

Well, now talking about the complicity of the Catholic Church seems excessive to me. There were certainly collaborationist dioceses, and even high-ranking German prelates who supported Nazism, but the official line of the Vatican was one of cautious, calculated, and perhaps somewhat fearful dissent.
