Allman Brothers Band Idlewild South
Voto:
Everything is beautiful.
The Allman Brothers were a live band, but here they prove to be a great studio group, and their version of hootchie coochie man is truly one of the best we've ever heard with its arrangement, a hallmark of the ABB that I particularly love.
Peter Criss One For All
Voto:
Even if he didn't write those Kiss songs, his voice is in no way inferior to Stanley's and I actually like it even more than Simmons', and in the '70s he was far from a bad drummer.
UFO Strangers In The Night
Voto:
beautiful, one of the most captivating live performances
Slayer Live Intrusion

I have Still Regning, which despite its brevity offers a godly performance, especially Araya is in great shape. I absolutely need to get this.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV
Voto:
The drum intro of Rock N Roll is taken directly from Keep On Knockin by Little Richard, but I think it's obviously a tribute.
AC/DC Fly On The Wall
Voto:
I'm a huge fan of AC/DC; I've seen them live too, but this album is the only one I've never been able to digest!
Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come Galactic Zoo Dossier

Even though you stole it from me, it's okay anyway.
Of course I agree with every single word!
Yes Close To The Edge
Voto:
The most extraordinary thing about the eponymous suite is that it seems as if everyone is acting on their own without seemingly sensing each other, with even the voices out of sync with the rhythm, yet somehow, everything is in its place like magic. I had heard that the immense Bruford claimed he left after this album (to join King Crimson) because they had given their best and the Yes couldn't go any further. Although I prefer Fragile by a thousandth of a thousandth of a vote (which was my first review) but only for purely sentimental reasons, being the first prog album I bought without even knowing what prog was, and it made me discover a fantastic island in the English music of the '60s/'70s. (Everything done outside of England during that period I don't consider 100% prog, but there are exceptions like RUSH.)
Ramones Leave Home
Voto:
I have never been able to appreciate them; I prefer English punk or at most American hardcore.
