Matthew Weiner Mad Men: Season 1-4
Voto:
Mad Men is, in my humble opinion, along with the series airing on the same cable channel in America (AMC) Breaking Bad, the best show on TV for the past 10 years. The screenplay is always meticulously crafted, nothing trivial, outstanding actors, and an incredibly accurate historical reconstruction; I even read that Weiner, its executive producer-director-writer, is obsessive about the choice of sets, going so far as to use, whenever possible, all the actual items from the period, and not modern reconstructions of vintage objects, but truly items dating back to those years. At the end of March, it returns with an hour and a half episode to kick off the 5th season. Oh, and last but not least, this series has made me discover one of the most beautiful women in the history of mankind: Christina Hendricks.....

Great review and excellent mention of a group that seems very underrated to me. I heard Sad Mary on YouTube and it completely convinced me. As a lover of British Blues, I can’t wait to get it immediately :) great mention and review deserving of top marks!

Recovered last night, given the death of its director whose films from the 70s I appreciated, but this debut is a great film, able to keep the attention alive despite the setting and the overall simple plot.
