Great album indeed, I was also amazed by everyone at the beach. Extraordinary also "curriculum" and "l'uomo di paglia" but still, a truly beautiful, intense, and unconventional record. Good review.

Fantastic review, congrats. The album is a bit less so, beautiful moments but with some missteps. The ideas gradually take shape in the chaos, while at other times the chaos overwhelms the ideas. I find Moffat's singing style penalizing, boring and monotone, almost irritating. I can imagine, for example, these same songs sung by Greg Dulli from the days of Gentlemen.
