Come on, Placebo are just pathetic by now, the times of Without You I'm Nothing are long gone!!! And you're talking to me about the lyrics of the Afterhours?!!!!! But what about the lyrics of Placebo? Come on!! Maybe in English you don't understand a damn thing and they seem better..... but stop it!!! Listen to things without prejudice and grow.

In my opinion, it's an excellent album. I find it a widely spread cliché to claim that the first albums of an artist’s career are masterpieces while the subsequent ones are inevitably mediocre. I listen to this album with the spirit of a thirty-year-old in transition, and I can relate to it. It envelops me and makes me reflect. I was jumping around and smashing guitars back in the days of "germi" and "male di miele," and today I get goosebumps listening to "la sottile linea bianca" (fantastic) and "carne fresca." Of course, everything in music is subjective. To all the young amateur critics and not, who dreamed of being singers... when you’ve written something similar, come back and we’ll discuss it.
