And here we go egebamyasi! All about new wave! I only know the record by name, but it's quite similar to certain things I'm indulging in these days. Right now, I'm having a bit of trouble keeping it together... is there a review of Y by the Pop Group? Or of God by Rip Rig & Panic?

painful and indefensible record. U2 are finished, alright. While I actually liked POP, and quite a bit...

Well done, Ringo! Great review, wonderful album.
And to think I wanted to write it too... One question: how do you hear Barry White in the drums of "metal box"?

Great review, ege! Unfortunately, I can't express my thoughts on the album because I've never managed to find it...

very funny review.
I've always had a conflicted relationship with the album: I was utterly in love with it when it first came out, but after six months, I was already disgusted.
After so many years, I still enjoy its clever mixing of all pop knowledge (from the Kinks down), even though after two songs I immediately want to put on that unattainable masterpiece that is English Settlement by XTC...
