Nooo! this record doesn’t talk politics! it doesn’t contain a gram of propaganda! if you made an effort of humility and tried to listen to it, you would realize how the lyrics speak of lost souls, depressions, alienation, boredom, devastations of the body and the psyche, themes certainly closer to the (sub)average life in Emilia in the 80s than to Soviet life. That’s borrowed imagery; even phrases like "vogliorifugiarmisottoilpattodivars avia" etc. shouldn’t be taken literally; there’s a fucking metaphorical meaning, for Christ's sake! And then, dear hell, I would love to see how you’d behave in a forum where someone starts trashing a record they’ve never heard, just because the cover reminds them of something ugly!!!

If you allow me, a group that talks about Northern European traditions, Aryanism, and wolves feels at least a bit more distant to me than a record that addresses the hassles of provincial Italy... Personally, what interests me about a record (Italian or not) is the "language," both musical and verbal. Dude, this album doesn’t do politics. If it “offends you” because you see how calmly Nazism and Communism are synonymous, that’s your problem. A group inspired by Hitler? I don’t know much about extreme Nazi-satanist metal bands, but I don’t think their works shine much with intelligence and finesse. You see, dude, the problem is precisely this: Nazism has no ambiguity left; it is evil par excellence, and the allure it exerts can only resolve itself in acts of violence for its own sake, with adolescent pimple-faced kids fantasizing about barbaric murderers... No one denies that the history of communist countries has been filled with repression, ignorance, and assorted violence, but for years it represented a kind of "anti-world," a kind of dark earthly afterlife, about which simply nothing was known and on which it was also possible to mythologize... An album like this brings all that to the surface with thick doses of irony, intelligence, and poetic value. If for you all this is simply something to burn because it reminds you of Cuba or who knows what else, I really don’t know what to tell you...
