Thank you, Odra! I'm very flattered to be the subject of voyeurism (literary, but oh well...). I think one of our least attended performances was "L'apparenza," where we were truly alone! I imagine you must have taken a peek there too... I wouldn't mind hearing a comment.

Returning to us, Aeneas, regarding the relationship between the balance of perfection and "unbalanced" experimentation, this is the case where I prefer the perfection of the now perfectly oiled machine of ITNT over the surely interesting sketches of LBLBICE. In ITNT, everything is in the right place, starting with the division into 4 more dynamic pieces and another 4 slower ones; there are no flaws, everything is perfectly calculated... Is it the merit of the project’s American roots? Who knows.

But dear Odra! You shouldn't feel embarrassed and stay on the sidelines: you can comfortably join us (right, Enea?) if this can help keep you a little further away from the station restrooms (which do have their charm)...

Thank you for the tip, psycho! It's clear that I haven't been hanging out in record stores lately! Indeed, it would deserve... whoa, watch out for the outbursts of rage!

But how could I have missed such a high-level review??? All I can do is congratulate you on the joy of your writing and for choosing one of the works by KRFTWRK (rather underrated) that I absolutely prefer...

oh divine Aeneas, it’s not just Odra who can’t live without you! how well we get along! :-))) regarding "Where does that bush reach", yes, good mogul, but what’s less convincing is the flatness of the musical writing of the piece, and more generally throughout the album, the lack of moments of "breakthrough", like the splendid inserts that instead abound in ITNT.

I just saw that the complete sessions of FunHouse are enclosed in a box of 7 (SEVEN!!!) CDs!!! for a total of 142 tracks including studio dialogues and rough drafts of songs. I understand the masterpiece... but are we sure it's worth it?

here's another opportunity that my laziness made me miss... I had this one in the drawer too, but now... The review seems good to me, (except for some excessive enthusiasm), with precise and not trivial annotations, although the connection between "respirando" and "no dottore" seems a bit forced. This is a very important album, (as was also said in the posts of "Io tu noi tutti") because it inaugurates the tendency towards a certain "danceability" that Battisti developed up to his last works. Personally, I find almost the imperfect production and the somewhat provisional aspect of certain pieces to be strengths, in contrast to the very clean packaging of the previous albums.
