Come on, anyway, Zelda, it's not a bad review; at least you tried to tackle a massive album with the excuse that you hadn't even read the other one. Maybe instead of certain (well-known around here) biographical information, you could have put a bit more effort into the emotional side, and it would have turned out to be a more personal review... there are still several things missing, including the double live Stage from '78. Damn, if I weren't so damn lazy and unmotivated...

Ah... the wardrobe of a drag will be cheap! But shouldn’t we talk a bit about this evergreen masterpiece teetering between Teutonic metronomes, exalted romanticism, and chilling catalepsy??? :-)

ah why is zelda masculine?... 1) "disgustingly flirting"... you’d like that, Odra! It’s all rotten jealousy on your part, admit it! 2) Enk can take you, although I think it’ll be him following us (all this overt aversion to "culattoni," I sense some unresolved conflicts, but oh well..) 3) Odra, can you recommend me some deadly mix of psychopharmaceuticals? : D

But how??? You like drag queens??? And I thought you liked the Biker-Leather style!!! Ugh! Now I have to redo the entire wardrobe!

mmmh though! what beautiful high-level discussions! it's in moments like these that I'm proud to be part of the "community" of debaser. It's been roughly since middle school that I heard someone say "whoever listens to devidbaaui is gay!"...

Um, I wouldn't want to bring up an age-old discussion, but clearly there is still a need for it: if, quite rightly, anyone on this site has the freedom to express themselves as they wish, just as rightly ANYONE (including "culattoni") has the right to make the criticisms they deem appropriate.

Ah, anyway, the album is one of my favorites (along with Pornography and Three Imaginary Boys) by the Cure.

Oh my God, it's not that Robert Smith's lyrics are always much better than this pseudo-poetic sludge, but the thing is, he is Robert Smith and his lyrics are firmly anchored to music that is anything but trivial and insignificant. Let's just say you could have made a bit more effort, you could have been a little meaner (there’s plenty of meanness in The Cure) and less forcefully poetic...
