very interesting, I really like these linguistic slips! I just wonder if the effect will be as disruptive as that of "Possessed" by Alexander Balanescu...

Oh! Here’s a name I haven’t heard in a good decade! Back then, I took this one and its predecessor... I have no idea what effect it would have on me to listen to it again today.

The self-titled studio debut (1968) is very underrated, with less delirious and much more composed pieces, but still featuring excellent instrumental performances. Shady Grove, from 1969, on the other hand, aside from a couple of tracks, really disappointed me.

Hello Psycho! The only moment I find tedious is the middle part of "Who do you..." with that frenzy of hand claps and raucous screams that frankly could have been spared. Better than live/dead? I DON'T KNOW, maybe I agree...

(assuming I've not stepped into a record store for a lifetime)...but is it really that rare to find? ...absolutely a must-have, especially "Hardcore Devo" (especially Vol. 1)

your cassette, silvian, should have the cover of the 1973 edition or thereabouts, reprinted alongside that of Space Oddity in full Ziggy Stardust style: the original from '70 is the one you see published here, which was practically seen for the first time with the Ryko reissues of '90.

I have to tell the truth: this album has never excited me; I’ve always found it a bit too raw, even though the attempt to go in so many different directions is commendable. (Geniality, in my opinion, is evident from Ziggy onward.) The review, in my opinion, is a bit too wordy and exaggerates somewhat in the prophetic attributions... (proto metal? maybe, but I’d say more influenced by contemporary hard experiences... proto glam? I’d say glam that isn't quite perfectly focused yet... proto grunge, ("not just for the title track," which, by the way, was revisited by Cobain & co. in a very minimally electrified way...) the "proto punk" and "proto new wave"? I'm sorry, but I just don’t see them at all...

Don't be too cynical
Don't be too critical
Cancel the magazines
They're much too political
Don't buy him any jeans
They're much too casual
Talent is relative
We are his relatives
That's parenthetical!!!
