Ben Harper Diamonds On The Inside
Voto:
This is an album that I didn’t like at all, especially considering that I spent 20 euros on it! I didn’t like it because it’s ambitious, inconclusive, and I can’t find any coherent thread. So many different songs in various styles, and above all, without any verse. I identified more with the first part of the review.

If I hadn't been busy on stage at Centocelle, I would have come to the rainbow too :-)

Reading about a jazz lover in these pages gives me great pleasure, welcome namesake. To respond to my friend Hal, I've seen Pat Metheny live 3 times and the last time at the Arena was disappointing. Among his albums that I prefer (heresy, I know), I also include "we live here." Einaudi's album is the concert at La Scala, bought today; I understand it adds little but it's still very beautiful, especially since the only one I have of him is "le onde." And to always answer Hal, Wynton Marsalis's album is "magic hours," but I haven't picked it up yet, then I'll let you know. Guys, I throw this out here as a suggestion, after all, there’s plenty of time to organize ourselves; why don't we plan a long meeting for the next Umbria Jazz?

Dear Hal, this review of yours is beautiful, well-written, and on time as usual, but this time it lacks that special something you usually give to your reviews, so this time the rating is just 3. This album still doesn’t belong to me because, in the album budget for this month, under "jazz and related," I have Rava, Einaudi, and Marsalis planned. Maybe I'll skip some rock albums for Stern, what do you think? As for Pat Met, I also agree that Travel is the best, and it’s true that he has disappointed me more than once over the years (even live).

"If you have problems with premature ejaculation, 'Orgasm is the enemy' is for you, because no penis in this song does its job well. And who the hell are you, D'Annunzio? Definitely among my favorite reviews."

Nice "a shot to the seven from a penalty kick," I confirm.
Duran Duran Duran Duran

I'm really sorry for those who were raving about them back then, but during those years I was listening to the Clash, the Cult, and the Sisters of Mercy. Only later did Miles Davis make it into my stereo, but the Duran never even came close.
Freddie Mercury Mr. Bad Guy
Voto:
Mercury was undoubtedly great, but I've always found it hard to tolerate. I've never liked the circus in music, even though I acknowledge that it's part of the "rock world," but still, it's always rubbed me the wrong way.

The painterly combination is very beautiful, well done iko.
