Absolutely agree with Punisher! Moreover, David Gilmour described the Easy Star's version as the most beautiful of all those made of his masterpiece. Absolutely the dub version is a magnificent "fun", just as their authors are during concerts (seen this summer).

I used to like these back in the day, but when I was still a hustler for musical acts (others'!), they wrote in their presentation to the group that they had played in front of 80,000 people, and I exclaimed, "Who do they think they are, Bob Marley?!"... then I found out that the EVENT was in Monza at the royal park before the fireworks, since then completely fallen, and then honored as a poet and soloist, he is/was more megalomaniacal than Fiumani!

I've always loved Dalla since I was a child; today I listen to him more out of duty than pleasure, just like this album. This morning was the third time I played it and I did so with attention. "Angoli nel cielo" could be part of a really great album if it were extracted along with a couple of others—one or two per album, no more—from all those, as you say, post "cambio." The fourth one, whose title I can't recall (but I'm at the office now), is too reminiscent of "us and them" by Pink Floyd to not be considered almost plagiarism, and the most interesting track is "fiuto" because its theatricality fits in well with the "off" elements that Dalla has always managed quite well.
