I’m sorry to disappoint those who wrote the post above mine, but that night I was, as I said back then, almost 14 years old, and that scream, that game, the spitting wasps, the Germans paralyzed inside the hotels along the Senigallia waterfront, were the greatest emotion I experienced up to that point, perhaps also because I had never seen anything like it in Senigallia at the age of 14. Perhaps my (moderate) sense of patriotism and belonging was born that very night; then, of course, over the years it has developed and sometimes weakened due to everything I have experienced in the 29 years that followed.

Upon first listening live, after the fourth song and thus halfway through the album, no, it doesn't inspire wonder. Radiohead same old, very "produced," polished in the details and lacking in ideas... but the album still has to finish its first sonic round inside the Mac's speakers.

I saw them at the Arena in Verona and honestly, they were "tristarelli." They will give me the album as a Christmas gift; after all, I think it’s coming out to be a holiday treat... if it turns out to be better, I’ll write about it again, but I have my doubts after seeing the live performance. Yet, I have always adored both of them, and as for Dalla, I believe I'm the only one who continues to buy the new albums for the sake of collecting!

This album is beautiful, I listen to it constantly and if it has a flaw, it’s true, it’s too long! For me, as it has been defined elsewhere: "this is what afrofuturism sounds like!" POP album of the year without a doubt.
