Depeche Mode Playing the Angel

On October 8th, I went to MI for a live show with DeB's friends and we talked about the DM, who knows what this album will be like, because from this review you can't really understand much! Anyway, write - () and love you (it doesn't really matter but I wanted to put a love you in the comment) bye

Paula Morelenbaum sometimes gives me the impression that she struggles to reach with her voice where she should/would like to, a beautiful voice but that sometimes gets lost in the nonetheless uneven comparison with the songs and music she is forced, alas, to confront. And so it is even live.
The review is beautiful, splendid the account of friendship, magical the music that has come from it, and finally we start talking about Brazilian music (at excellent levels) on deb. Well done!

Paolo Conte Elegia

Can I be an iconoclast? Conte live, I've seen him about 7 or 8 times and I don't like him anymore! The last great concert of his I attended was in Piazza San Marco with the square completely reserved for the 3/400 people at the concert, and in the background, the Museo Corer was burning in a magnificent installation by Plessi. Well, there he sang in a soft voice even though he was supported by great musicians; by now, live he is a weary conductor of himself, yet still remaining in my personal musical Olympus.
Paolo Conte Paris Milonga
Voto:
Paolo Conte has been accompanying me for many years on the road of my life, perhaps more than anyone else (with Cave, Marley, Metheny above all), and if I have to play the famous game of the tower, the album I prefer musically is "Aguaplano," and the one I feel most connected to is "parole d'amore scritte a macchina." I still remember the joy of finding "Paris Milonga" on vinyl at a flea market about ten years ago.
What a great review.

Hey Psyco! Really nice review, descriptive, clean and smooth, it reads very well! I heard these guys up in Urbino but at that moment I had better things to do, I had already started to stuff myself at the bar! Hal this isn’t really your genre anymore and practically not even mine, but it's absolutely Kosmo oriented, yeah yeah much more B'52 than Violent Femmes.

I would have written what Primiballi said, so now I’ll transcribe it word for word. I have always liked U2 up to this point (though much less here), then they became the ghosts of themselves; who knows, maybe one day they will do like the Rolling Stones and come out with a decent album after twenty years of rubbish. Then it will mean that in 2020 we’ll have the next good album from Bono & Company; in the meantime, scraps!

I like that on de-b there is a small enclave of jazz lovers and others outside of rock, indie, metal, and their derivatives. At times it seemed to me that the only ones keeping an ear open to jazz were just me and the "maestro" Hal. I'm glad to read beautiful reviews and enlightening comments from Socrates, JoP, Odra, Logic, and others I’m forgetting to mention.

What a great record this is; I listened to it all yesterday afternoon at FNAC, but then (the usual budget reasons) I chose, without regret, the new Brad Mehldau Trio album, "Day is Done," which is equally remarkable and lyrical. The review is very, very beautiful, and lately, I experienced something similar, but for once in my life in the reverse order.
