I reread this review 11 years later, and a trace of sadness and nostalgia veils my thoughts. I thank all the commentators, and I remember some of them with particular affection, especially Trell, who has left us, but all the others were friends, many of whom accompanied me to various concerts. I happened to see Keith Jarrett again several times, but the magic of La Fenice never repeated itself; otherwise, what magic would it be?! What remains is the memory of a magical night, listening to one of my musical idols, experienced in the company of someone also among my best memories... ahh, how time flies!

I was at the concert too, and compared to when I saw him fifteen years ago, he has lost quite a bit of his energy, but the years pass for everyone. Despite the poor acoustics due to my high position in the venue, it was an enjoyable concert and very well performed.

Zamboni, Maroccolo, Magnelli, Canali, playing THOSE songs without GLF are worth as much as when the Litfiba of Renzulli played without Pelù... useless! And Maroccolo can try to argue that this isn't a reunion but rather the desire of four friends to play songs from their repertoire and that these concerts shouldn't be compared to the old times, because they don't want to be compared to the past but are something else... something else is a cover, something else is a tribute band, but it’s not something else when the same song is played by the same musicians but missing a fundamental and, above all, irreplaceable instrument: the original voice!
