Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros Live At Acton Town Hall
Voto:
I missed the Mescaleros live, but I did see the B.A.D., almost forty years ago (!!!) and they made a great impression on me. For everything else, I caught up on their albums, but I have to say that the B.A.D. records sound very much dated today, while the orange album by the Mescaleros still holds up well, not to mention the timeless ones by the Clash!
Christopher Nolan Tenet
Voto:
To truly understand Tenet, just rewatch Back to the Future; it's the same film, but with a lot fewer complications and at least it's entertaining.

The first (and among the most beloved) album I ever bought in my life!
Bob Marley & The Wailers One Love: The Very Best of Bob Marley & The Wailers

Legend was a great collection, still among the best-selling vinyl records, but for me, who has all the original Bob's albums, rereading a review from time to time is always a heartfelt experience. Then reading that 40 years have passed since his death fills me with sadness as I think about how time relentlessly moves on :-(
Bryan Singer Bohemian Rhapsody

The worst movie that could have been made has been made! Truly awful, cloying, with Live Aid scenes poorly copied and edited from the original. No depth, a film with Soldi and De Sica is more honest!
The Good, the Bad & the Queen Merrie Land

Extremely British, perhaps the adjective "circus-like" is the one that suits him best. The rhythmic carpet is beautiful; after all, Tony Allen is an absolute. You can really feel Tony Visconti's touch, to the point that sometimes Albarn's voice sounds like that of the White Duke.
Keith Jarrett Live at Fenice - Venezia 19/7/2006

So many years have passed since that magical Venetian evening and after such a long wait, the promise to make that night eternal has materialized, not just in the memories of those who, like me, experienced it. I am listening to the record for the first time and the memory of over 12 years ago is haunting, but this recording brings vivid memories and emotions!
Spike Lee BlacKkKlansman
Voto:
I subscribe to every single word. The film is too "scripted," too acted, it doesn’t flow in the narrative, lingering in characterizations and stereotypes, the stupid fat guy, the cool black people, but above all the beautiful women, the irony rewarded with success among fellow cops, no the film, nice in general, overflows in the details. In any case, it's worth watching, just like all Spike Lee joints!

In the end, I listened to the album a few times and it's fine just for a car trip, pleasant but nothing special.

I listened to it all yesterday, but just once, so I'll give it an average rating because it didn't excite me. However, it needs to be understood first, so I'll give it at least a couple more listens before I make a final judgment.
