Black Sabbath The End Of The End

One of the greatest bands of all time, Iommi literally created a genre!
Judas Priest Nostradamus
Voto:
Heard it 3 times, it just doesn't grab me, good intro and prophecy but then pure boredom and blandness. Listening to this Nostradamus has even made me reevaluate Gods Of War by Manowar (still a concept, tedious but better than this). If I think there's people who criticize A Matter Of Life And Death by the Maiden, well, it's a masterpiece compared to Nostradamus!
Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death

I’ll only say one thing: there are plenty of guitarists around (especially useless guitar wankers or those incapable of improvisation like Petrucci), but there has been, there is, and there will always be only one Ritchie Blackmore!!! Blackmore is the true god of guitar; the others can all fuck off!!! Honor to the great Ritchie Blackmore, the greatest guitarist in the history of Rock!!!
Dio Killing The Dragon

Well, Iron Maiden are always the best, they are Metal!!! Steve Harris Rules!!!
Dream Theater Octavarium

The effects are in the mind and in the fingers, death to technology! How I miss the early 70s, when the six-string majesty Ritchie Blackmore (the best of all time for me) was teaching the whole world. I'm sorry, for me musicians are those who play, not those who masturbate hundreds of keys and levers!

So, you like guitar playing filled with effects, sounds of women giving birth, animal noises, an abundance of tapping and hammer-ons. I, on the other hand, prefer the virtuosos; Malmsteen definitely counts as one, no doubt about that! It seems to me that the great composers of the past didn’t use effects... The pick control that Malmsteen has is something that that idiot Vai can only dream of, as he’s too busy setting up chorus, delay, and various nonsense... The virtuosos are artists, and Vai is lost without effects. I have the G3 DVD; Satriani is boring, Vai doesn’t know what else to invent and starts again with his usual affected nonsense, Yngwie… Well… Yngwie is always the best! Melody, musicality, and a control that others can only dream of - a true triumph of baroque style!!! Thank goodness there are still virtuosos like Malmsteen!!!

No, please, enough with John Petrucci. Great technique but zero charisma. Yngwie reigns supreme despite the outrageous belly he's got... He’s still the best, Malmsteen is the quintessence of pure musicality, I gladly spend 50 bucks to go see him, to hear Bach, Albinoni, Vivaldi coming out of a six-string, excuse me if that's not enough! Keep your Petrucci, Vai (but where are you going...) and Satriani, because I have the best, I have Yngwie!
Nirvana Nevermind

The Nirvana? Along with Metallica, they are the ANTIMUSIC!!!!!!!
Nirvana In Utero
Voto:
ForPerez: I am proud to review Thin Lizzy, they are from another planet compared to Nirvana, Cobain isn't even worth the toenail of the great and lamented Phil Lynott!!!

I don't comment on those who can't play; as far as I'm concerned, the only good thing that idiot Cobain did was blow his brains out—at least he got out of the way! I'll be cynical, but I don't give a damn.
