After listening to it several times, I've come to the conclusion that it's unfortunately an album filled with too many fillers and, for the first time, somewhat soporific (although to be honest, there were also loose tracks on The LDJ). There's a lot of blues (too much for my taste). As with all of the Great Tom's albums, there are some beautiful songs, especially "Running Man's Bible," "Don't Pull Me Over," and the gorgeous "Something Good Coming." I absolutely don't want to make comparisons with his magnificent past albums, so if I focus on the more recent period, both Highway Companion and especially Echo are far superior! I love Tom, so I'm not giving a rating. Good review, even though I don't share the opinion on the album.

Spending too much time in the Ibiza disco must have hurt him, except for the top of the morning and man in the rain (even though it reminds me a bit too much of moonlight shadow).
