I don't know if Ryan Adams is overrated or not, one thing is certain: in the US he is very appreciated, much less so in Europe. The albums you mentioned are the ones that are more known and appreciated in Europe. Rock'n Roll is the American music for export; it is certainly Adams' least beautiful record, an album recorded and composed in two days as a provocation. Love Is Hell is a difficult album, where great compositions and spectral atmospheres coexist. For me, it remains a great album... even though I believe Ryan shines the most in country music, so I recommend you listen to Cold Roses, this Jacksonville, Heartbreaker, everything he did with Whiskeytown, and the beautiful Gold (which is not a country album, but I consider it the best pop-rock album of the last 10 years), then you’ll understand why Ryan Adams is so overrated.

The more absurd things are, the more I like them.

Yes, but don’t be so sad; there are more important things in life than a friendly debate on de-baser.

When you copy and paste, try to do it better; don't you think you've forgotten something?

Sure, mine is hot air, yours is knowledge of facts, you are Jesus and I am the money changer in the temple, you are the moralist and I am the perverse little boy, you are the immaculate marriage and I am the dirty masturbation...yes, it’s all clear.
p.s. Anyway, I didn’t ask you to reply to me, especially since my last posts weren’t addressed to you...and then why complain when you did everything yourself...I wonder why it bothered you so much that I think the most beautiful moment of the film is Dylan's entrance...I don’t know, I think you really have serious problems. Here’s a friendly piece of advice: go and get yourself treated.

This album is an invitation to the blues.

The best of the Coen brothers, everything is perfect, so is the soundtrack. Epic the trip with the legendary song by Kenny Rogers. p.s. I heard that the Copen are preparing a movie starring Jesus (Turtutto).

The scene with Neil Young dusted with coke was cut, so it’s not in the original film... I believe the piece he was playing was Powderfinger. Behind the scenes, there was a real cocaine party; Young wasn't the only one who was high; everyone was. The intimate atmosphere that you see during the concert comes more from this than from the feeling of friendship that flowed among these great artists (I’m not making this up; it was directly stated by the people involved, especially Scorsese).

Anyway, you're right to say that I'm kind, after all reading a review that says Neil Young has become a double of himself and then hearing his latest splendid album.. well, it makes me laugh because three stars are truly an act of kindness.
