John Carpenter In The Mouth of Madness - Il Seme Della Follia

nothing more than a little movie, this one is for teenagers.
Roman Polanski Repulsion

a tiny jewel.
Danny Boyle Trainspotting
Voto:
a beautiful film that has the merit of revealing Ewan McGregor as a truly outstanding actor. I read the book, and Boyle nailed it, conveying the true theme of drugs: loneliness, friends are just an illusion, ready to screw each other over. The visual ideas are certainly not for teenagers, but rather clever insights to tell a sad theme like this in a mocking and ironic way (and this is where the film's transgression lies, just like in the book). Drug addicts are ready to do anything, even jump into the toilet just to score some drugs.
Pasquale Festa Campanile Un povero ricco

As a film, it is certainly not a masterpiece, but it is a movie that achieves its goal, which is to make you laugh.
