I don't know, I really think it's very difficult to rationalize the work of the Flaming Lips and make comparisons. We're talking about pure madness, about trying to find common ground on very complicated territory. Even in my review, you mentioned that the Flaming Lips lost their way in the early '90s. Could it be that I'm simply more attached to their recent works while you prefer the earlier ones? It's not a controversy; I'm genuinely interested in understanding, perhaps along with Josi and the others, whether we can truly recognize when an album is good and what the points of comparison are to determine that.
