I bought this album when it was released, and even then it was not easy to find, at least by Italian store standards. I had high expectations, especially in light of the last two works by Talk Talk. Unfortunately, it's an excessively introspective record that leaves little room for the music. Not bad, but it feels very personal and really gives nothing to the audience.

I wanted to speak up in favor of Peter Murphy's solo work. At least "Deep" and "Love Hysteria" are albums that deserve recognition despite being quite mistreated by critics.

Great album from one of the most underrated bands ever. Neil Finn as a solo artist also deserves attention (which he has never received, at least around here).

No, I'm not doing it on purpose. I wanted to talk about an album that I like (just like I like the previous one I reviewed, Moose) and that I hoped someone would know about. Even just to hear a different opinion from mine. Or to learn more about it. And I see that Odradek knows a lot more. Anyway, I discovered this album in Rockstar when it was still a readable music magazine. Pop was their territory. I still think it's an impossible album to find.

And if no one knows them on Debaser, imagine elsewhere.

It's true. They are complete unknowns, but for those who love the genre I've described, it's a delightful album. There are countless bands and/or solo artists that no one knows, but that doesn't mean they should be dismissed. Those who have been listening to music for a long time, I suppose, are fed up with the usual names, and it’s only natural to look in the "outskirts," where sometimes there are pleasant surprises like in this case.

It's certainly not yet another review of Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Radiohead, Queen, etc. Whether or not anyone knows them is another matter altogether.

You may not be familiar with the latest albums I've reviewed, but I too am groping in the dark in front of such a variety. Anyway, well done.

I won't deny that deep down I was wondering if Socrates also knew the Moose. I have another pop review of the underground in the works. I'll be waiting for you. In fact, I was surprised when I saw that you knew the Pearlfishers. Still, even among your reviews, there are names that are unknown to me.

Even in the network, there isn't that much to find. In my opinion, they deserve attention even if this is the only album available through official channels. Anyway, I’ve never heard anyone mention it either, but I really like this album.
