Well, I believe that the essence of the matter, as romanticized as it may be, reflects quite well the events and main motivations, especially since we also have the testimonies of the sister. For instance, the fact that Chris left without a trace and didn’t care to inform his parents about his whereabouts is undeniable, and it already says a lot about the true "motivations" and the manner of this youthful folly.

One last thing, if you want to know, this job can't be done outdoors for a very specific reason: people are scared to do it and to witness it. He’s also a man who does this kind of work, though masked as a reckless idiot who goes to make a fool of himself on TV.
